Great stay, no reason to complain.
Excellent facilities and a lovely breakfast with Counter Culture coffee and great gluten free offerings, for example. Nice building and rooms for the mid century style. Incredible, fantastic location perfectly in the center of downtown a block from the conference center. Based close enough to the restaurant which was excellent-both food, Durham Bulls stadium, and central Durham.

Nicely designed and quaint hotel with absolutely perfect location squarely in the center of Durham's business district. A nice size room plus for the mid century style. Gorgeous breakfast selection with coffee & tea and bacon.
Wi-Fi was very poor.

Quirky hotel, good service, and amazing value. Central heating, multi-channel TV and a fridge in the room and the good bed. Lovely breakfast selection with Counter Culture coffee, bacon and also local food served in the lobby. Unbeatable and magnificent location steps away from Durham Farmer's Market...

Very good overall experience. Chic and unique venue, fantastic location short walk to the convenience of taking the elevator up to the best rooftop bar and the burgeoning downtown of Durham. Free and gorgeous breakfast with lactose free options, local food and also coffee & tea and great service. Exceptionally attentive staff, well-equipped and nicely decorated rooms for the mid century style. Easy check-in, parking on-site. Late check out.

Wonderful experience at The Durham! The rooftop dining and cocktails were amazing, and the freshly ground coffee in the morning was a treat. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the little touches like snacks in the room and a fridge made our stay even better. I highly recommend this hotel.

I greatly enjoyed the Art Deco-style building, well-equipped room for the mid century style. Could use central heating, multi-channel TV and a fridge. The hotel was set in a central area very close to restaurants, boutiques, Duke's campus and The Durham and the conference center. The staff was very very helpful the whole time of my stay.

I had an amazing experience staying at this venue! The location is perfect, being right in the heart of the business district and surrounded by more than a dozen good restaurants, all within walking distance. The staff could not have been any friendlier and provided superb service, from remembering my name to offering excellent room service and dry cleaning. The room itself had great amenities, including ironing facilities, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, a sitting area. There was even a terrace with garden furniture to lounge in!
To sum it up, I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends who are visiting this area. The staff here provides excellent customer service, and the facilities such as the fitness center and business center are just what you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
